Hello everyone,
I thought that it will be nice if we make a complete list of bugs and errors in GS 0.9 (especially those, which involves older projects), and gather them in one topic. In that way, GS team would have all things to improve in one place. I think, it should increase their productivity.

Don't know if they fix it already...
Anyway, We cant copy and paste behaviors any more.
Alpha fade in seems to jump at the last bit, as though going from 90/95% to 100% in one jump.
Recent files don't seem to be appearing in the Recent section of the initial screen/dialog.
I've installed the GameSalad Plug-in .9.0 at least 3 times, but everytime I go to Web Preview, it still tells me there's a new version available (i.e .9.0 plug-in). Maybe the old plug-in isn't overwritten, so the old one keeps active?

Everything works perfectly during my testing on the mac,
1) Can't add self attributes to instances.
2) Hitting scene preview (white play button not the green) shows preview but then hitting pause makes everything go crazy!
3) If you create a My Behavior that uses scene attributes (camera for example) and drag it into a prototype it will not show up. But then when you add this prototype to a scene and open it you will see the My Behavior behind the pad lock. When you go back and click on the prototype you can't see it. It's invisible!
4) Not sure this is a bug, but I don't like to have to login every time to get the Pro Behaviors. If I am working on my laptop in a location without wifi, I'm screwed. I would just login at home first, but of course I still have to restart the GS creator program every few minutes as the memory leak is not fixed (yet???).

1) Latest Reply link does nothing
2) Demo links are broken (as of last night at least)
3) Can't change my icon

When using "Every" it does not work. For example,
"Every 2.5 seconds - play sound" does not work at all.
Collision Bug:
"When colliding with character - spawn actor X, destroy actor Y" causes game to freeze, issue never happened in 0.8.9 but only happened right after update.
went and bought Snow Leopard... installed it... downloaded the new GS update.... opened my recent platformer game project, and my main character actor in the game now jumps significantly higher than he did before. I have changed nothing else except for upgrading to snow leopard and the new GS.
Has the physics engine been modified in the new version of GS??? My game character jumps by using an accelerate behavior for a short specified amount of time. Like I said, I have changed nothing in the game project, and now the character jumps significantly higher than before.
Anyone know what is going on here?
Wasnt this meant to be one of the promised big improvements for 0.9.0?
Ok this is very strange and I've never seen it before but basically I have a button on my 1st scene that when touch is pressed change scene to next scene.. Simple however it doesn't work so to test this I created a 2nd and 3rd scene and put a change scene button on scene 2 and told it to go to scene 3...this worked.
Now here's the really strange part....
In preview mode If I start it on scene 2 I can click the small thumbs and change between scene 2 and 3 no worries but if I start it in scene 1 or click the scene 1 thumb I lose the ability to change to any other scenes... How is this possible? Not sure if this is a bug or user error but I thought I'd post it and see if anyone else has had an issue

I've an actor on-screen with (instance) rules which include changing another actor's x and y attributes to those of touch. When I option drag this first actor to get a copy, in its rules, the game.touch1.X & Y disappear everywhere they are, and I have to put them back in again every time. What also becomes blank is a value of one of the game attributes.

but now I am also experiencing another separate problem with sounds. when a sound is supposed to play, sometimes it plays and sometimes it does not. I have no idea why. It never did this in the previous version of GS, and honestly, I have no idea how to fix this problem myself. Please fix this issue.
The scenario that is going on in my game is this.... 1) a bomb actor is spawned and it plays a sound as the bomb drops, and then when the bomb actor collides with a ground actor, it spawns an explosion actor that plays a new sound for an explosion and shows an image for an explosion which lasts for a couple seconds then destroys the explosion actor. When the explosion actor is spawned, sometimes it plays the sound for an explosion and sometimes it does not. It is supposed to play the sound EVERY time.
Editing a series of attributes one after the other for about 10 minutes requires a restart, so the memory leak is still there. Have noticed significant improvements loading scenes though!
This happens when you try to edit an actor that have some rules associated with a previously deleted actor.
In my case I had Actor1 with a rule that said
-When Overlap or collide with something
--Change Attribute "scene.Background.Actor2.PositionX" to 50
Basically it tells another actor on the same scene to change position. Then I changed idea and deleted Actor2 then when I went to edit Actor1 rules it did what you described and had to restart the Creator.
Then I tried again but now I first deleted the rule on Actor1 and then I deleted Actor2. Now everything is working and I can open Actor1 without problems.
instead of give a message " this attribute is in use by "actor" " , nothing serious but 0.89 stopped you from deleting actor's attributes in use.
