Problems with my background

Okay, so i'm just looking for anyone who may have a hint to help me figure out what is wrong...
I have a background which i want to make reset the scene if you touch it, so i made it reset scene on touch.
Then added new actors in front of it which would move you on to the next level on touch. But for some reason as soon as i make the background reset the scene on touch no matter where i touch it resets the scene. I've made sure that the background was set behind everything else...

Does GS not detect one actor over another? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Think I get what you're saying: if you're using mouse up/down, use touch press/release instead. I think that should solve your problem.

sorry if i wasn't very clear, the game is a memory type game. Where a set of tiles lights up momentarily, then you have to hit them in the order they lit up. I'm trying to make it so where if you touch the wrong area, namely the background, the scene resets. I am using touch press/release on the correct tiles, and i was using touch press/release on the background also.

Hey, sorry, I was told by someone else that that solves the problem (passing the buck, see... ;-) Just done a test and see that it doesn't. Unless you can do it with boolean switches, the only other way I can think of is to break up your background into chunks so that none of the other actor overlay it. A bit clumsy but it'll work then. Hope there's some sort of help there.

yeah, thanks for the help gyro. After testing many different methods of "attempting" to fix the background issue.. i finally gave in and "chunked up" my background. :) works great now
