I have bought yesterday the pro version of GS to test here and here is my conclusions:
1 - I could not test on my iphone because i can´t access my portifolio and I really thought the publishing system was REALY trying to publish the game on apple store...strange not even asking for a provisioning key at first?
2- the engine is a little faster but my collisions for my game were all messed up and some of my weapons in my game collided with the enimies but the collision was not kept, making me remodeling all the collisions again.I have spent a day to fix new bugs brought by this version....And this is a PAIN truth in the ass!T_T( thank you GS team I see you really like Roller Coasters ).just for this one I can image how skillfull coders your team have...
3- the audio is weird...sometimes the musics ( thatI have been running since version 0.7 are now messed up, but I think this is easy fixable.
4 - about the interface GS is now more flexible and nice looking as long as about those nasty errors we received all the time( this did not happen with me anymore) but using it for too long will ask for a reboot ( because it takes to long to access other objects after using it too much )
5 - I wanna know how do I test it in my iphone with my developer provisioning key like the other versions...do I need to continue the publishing until the end?
6 - where is the portifolio system ? I went to clean some errors uploaded to GS servers but instead I received a joker page telling me that OPS we are sorry ( for something and that the page could not be loaded? Leave your real name and leave us a message? T_T this is a joke right?
well I really didn´t feel that much confidence using this version because my game ( very heavy ) is using 100MB right straight at the first stage( with every memory and processing managemant technic I would post here to inform with all respect , does not worth my time as I am running out of time...making my game) even a software like PNGout I am using!
I am going to try one more week but unfortunatly if I don´t like the results Yodapolo with all my respects with GS it´s sayounara da!
Something I am observing is that all the bugs my game gains as a new version comes out it goes accumulating the bugs in the built saved file and this my friends.....is scaring the hell out of me!I will buy Unity but I´ll still use GS ....just because I really like it´s simplicity, but just for the simple games!

as I already used torque, GML, java , C ++ , openGL, sql, oracle, unity. shiva, Gamesalad...and others you have to understand that my exeperience here in my criticism is valid! I am working with those compilers/tools for more than 20 years now, and I never saw an expensive tool like this in a BETA stage for soooooo long. This is jut like a mangaka( a manga cartoonist ) that started something but never from the start thouth about what would happen in the future of his work! Take One Piece, or Bleach or naruto for example those are successfull works that had to be stopped because they never thought their stories would be so expected by the audience. GS is the same my friend! Now let´s go back to work...T_T
