Need a good name for my game

I'm making a physics puzzle game, where the user has different types of pieces and powerups to get the ball to the goal. Here's a screenshot link: http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?04906e70ef.png
If anyone has good name ideas, it would be much appreciated, and if I use it you'll probably be in the credits (if you want it). Once I get some good ideas, i'll add a poll.

It looks like you are bridging obstacles so that the ball can get to the goal. So a name that reflects "bridge" would be appropriate. Unfortunately, in my native language, the word for bridge sounds rather odd and is not good for a title. I find that the Japanese and I believe Cantonese words for bridge: "hashi" and "kui" (I believe it's kui) sound cool. I've seen lots of Japanese and Chinese titles that sound awesome and better reflect the context of the subject matter than the same title in another language.

ok some names based around bridges...

    Stabiliser

    Bridge over rocky water

    A bridge too damn far

    London bridge is falling down

    Bridge it Jones

    Tumble City

Nothing amazing there, give us some clues on visual style....

Sorry I didn't have much detail. There's a lot of different levels, I just happened to have a screenshot of that one. There are two types of pieces, metal and wood, both of which the user can place and rotate. When they start it, metal pieces stay in the same place, whereas wood ones are affected by gravity, etc. Some other ideas I had are having the ball be a smiley face, and call it like happy ball or happy roll, anyone else have some suggestions?

I really want you to pick one of my titles, just because I like coming up with the best ideas. Here are a lot of titles I thought of for your game. The title should be catchy or edgy. Maybe some titles like these:

    Balls of Joy

    Block That Ball!

    Balls Away!

    Don't Drop The Ball!

    Ball trap

    Ball buster

    Grease ball

    Gum ball

    Butter ball

    You are on the ball

    Mad Balls

    Dina-Ball

    Ninja Ball

    Gorilla Ball

    RagBall

    Fire Ball

    SuperBalls

    Bounce Me Baby!!

    Freaky Ball

If its a more serious game, maybe some of these titles:

    Circular reasoning

    Sphere frenzy

    Particle Phase

    Gravity sphere

    Plasma Ball

    Tunnel Vision

    Roll up

    Ball master

    Ball-istic

    Whats your Ball IQ

If its more fantasy like and story driven, maybe one of these titles:

    Legend of the Ball king

    Save the Balls!

    Adventures of Jack Ball

    Bridge the gap

    RUN BALL RUN!!!!

    Chronicles of Ball Man

    Balls of Gold

    The Magic Ball

    Ball killers

    Tumble weed

    Ball of fists

I had some free time so that's why I made so many titles. Please pick one of these, I don't think you can come up with anything better (if you stick with the theme of a ball physics game). Hope you like these titles, and no, don't put me in your credits, you can take all the credit for your title.

Thanks SO much, Jake_Russell. I've narrowed it down to probably 5-6 of those names. Thanks once again!

Believe it or not, those titles gave me some ideas for new games using ball physics. But don't worry. I'm not even close to making a game yet, I'm still trying to figure out how to use all these attributes and behaviors in gamesalad. I'm glad you are making progress. Wish you the best of luck Rob.ert. Here are a few more I just thought about (they keep coming to me for some reason).

    Ball-tastic

    Ball-ified

    Circle Cycle

    Bounce your Balls off

    Tall ball

    Bubble Ball

Ok, I've narrowed it down to: (Since I can't seem to add a poll after the new site),
    Plasma Ball
    Happy Ball/Roll
    Bubble Ball
    Save the Balls
RagBall (If GameSalad supported joints to make something like that)
Adventures of Jack (or some other name) Ball

    Adventures of Jake Gyllenball?

    EDIT: Balltic States

    Hey, its me again.

It all depends on your game type. Is your game serious/causal, funny game, or a fast pace game?

    CASUAL/SERIOUS= Plasma Ball or Ragball
FUNNY= Bubble Ball or Happy Ball/Roll or Adventures of ??? Ball
    FAST PACE= Save the Balls

I hope this helps you narrow it down a little.

    Thanks Jake_Russel!
It's kind of a mix between casual and funny. It's level-based and you try something, tweak it, and try again, so it's not really fast paced.
I would totally do Ragball if GameSalad supported joints to do a ragdoll-type thing, but with a ball, but it doesn't.
I'm either going to do Plasma Ball, Bubble Ball, or Happy Ball/Roll.
Thanks again Jake for your names and suggestions. Let me know which one you like best.

A ball doesn't have joints so you can't have a rag ball. But you can still attach arms and legs to the ball (I believe you can use a constrain attributes to arm and leg images) and have them rotate at the joint areas under and on the sides of the ball so they collide with objects making the legs and arms move around like a rag doll. I really think this is possible because there is a tutorial on gamesalad "demos" area that has something like this.

If you can get this on your ball character (make a face on the ball and have the arms and legs dangling) it would make your game a lot more unique.

But me personally, (without seeing a finished game) I would pick "plasma ball". It appeals to teens and it makes you think of a fast pace game, even if it isn't. (I like using the "power of suggestion" so people think its better then what it is). You could have a particle effects attached to the ball trail to make it look like plasma moving. Have some Tron-like sound effects and it would be cool.

I see the "Happy Ball" title as a $0.99 app you don't have too much expectation from. Happy ball is too common and does not have enough edge. But if it fits your theme of a happy or colorful and funny character, it would be appropriate and communicate that this app is not for adults but for kids (if this is your market).

Bubble Ball seems to be in the middle of the two. It sounds like fun but it also sounds like a challenge at the same time. When you think of bubble, you think about probably avoiding something that pops the ball. (Instantly appeals to people who love avoiding objects in games). So if you choose Bubble ball, you can still have an edgy feel to the game without making it sound too serious. You can also make the ball semi-transparent like a bubble. When the ball drops or whatever your game mechanics are, you can make a bubble pop animation when it collides with the enemy object.

So my final verdict is probably bubble ball. I like plasma ball more but it may not fit your theme. Personally, I would try working out some tests to make arms and legs on the ball so you can name the game Ragball. I guess I kind of didn't help you find a title with these three suggestions, because the three titles are all good. So Good luck, Hope it works out.

I'm probably going to do "Bubble Ball", especially if I can get some nice sound effects. I'm probably going to use Ragball as a platformer game later on, if I ever get to it. Thanks again, Jake!
