how to assign actors to a specific layer?

last one for today! HA!

I need to have certain actors to be behind others but no matter to what position I drag them, the display does not update and reflect what I'm doing ...

According to google, I have to create a layer, which I did, but the only article I found does not explain how to add an actor to a layer. Unless one has to make the layer first and then what ever actor is created automatically .... nah, that would be too weird!

Anyone?

    For each layer theres a little triangle next to the name. When you click that it shows all the actors on that layer. Highlight whatever layer you want to add actors to and add them normally, or add them all to one layer and drag them from underneith the layer you made them on to underneith the new layer. Hope that makes sense.
