Possible way to remove GS video/splash?

Yesterday I was experimenting a bit. I was trying to see if there was a way to remove the movie file in your app and add your own
So first I made a small video. Then I named it EXACTLY as the GS movie file was named in the .zip file of the compiled app. I then dragged my movie file in the folder and replaced it with the GS video. I tried making an ad hoc with this, but it ended in failure. It said something like "Error: modifications have been made to this app, not recognizable"
Then I tried something else. I duplicated the GS video, and then dragged it into the .zip folder, and replaced the original video with this one. I tried making an adhoc, and it worked fine. BUT WAIT, even though it is still the same video, it was a different movie file, so the file was still modified. But it didn't recognize it as it being modified.
This is what i see when I get info on the GS video
Kind: MPEG-4 Video File
Size: 152 KB on disk (149,902 bytes)
Dimensions: 320 × 320
Codecs: AAC, H.264
Color profile: SD (6-1-6)
Duration: 00:04
Audio channels: 2
Total bit rate: 266
I think that if someone were able to match every bit of that info there with your OWN video, then when sending it over to the app store it wouldn't be recognized as if the file had been modified, and your own vid will show

Am I missing something?
Not trying to be rude it just seems kind of, erm, silly.
I suppose you think it's also ok to jail break a phone and get software for free too.
Geez.
I guess im just angry that they are making us use their video, the only reason I ever wanted pro was for a custom splash.
P.S. no, I do not have a jailbroken device. I believe as a developer you have to have at least a few clean devices. The US did declare, though, that jailbreaking is now legal
I think the best we can do is to submit our splash screen suggestions to the GS team for review. I know in my case a whole lot of branded business went out the door....as clients will absolutely not want anything in their app except their own logos.....such a shame......really......
John
Keep up the hacking.
I'm very annoyed about the splash screen. I paid for pro 11 months ago for the sole reason of no splash screen. Now I can't publish an update in the time I have left. I've requested via email and on the forum an official statement about my loss of that ability, but no response for days now... although I'm sure they are busy with all the issues.
If this is possible, I would be interested in knowing how, but I shouldn't have too.
*edit*
Oh, and clever you Arton! good job
I am also ok with the requirement of having the splash no matter if you are pro or less pro, because you are using GS to make the app anyway. I know there are softwares that don't force a splash screen or a washout but there are other that do and this one is.
I do have a suggestion: Can we have the splash screen after our own logo. In My case it will be something like this: THIS APP IS MADE BY LORDTARANTOR (THEN) POWERED BY GAMESALAD.
The other way around its more like GS is the one who make the app instead of what I think it should be, Lordtarantor made the app using Gamesalad.
Just a thought that is making a lot of sense in my head right now.
Actually, the Government (US) is slowly taking our rights away..... Gun rights are now under assault.. Thanks to the President's (US) choice of ATF head.
About GS:
I'll have to try this out.
There's nothing GS can do about this, if it's a video file, then it HAS to be published, or else no splash screen.
Thanks.
I could care less about what gamesalad thinks. My anger towards them atm can't even be explained, we've been waiting for this update for months and suddenly all of my favorite features are starting to fade away...and my game is running horribly in .9 and no one in GS was able to help me.
I am super angry right now as you can probably tell, so I guess the point of this post was supposed to be a rebellion kind of thing
