Just clicked on publish to make a build to test on my devices and what a pain it is now...

Is there another way around this without filling in pages of info?

Darren.

I didnt bother filling out most of the info...leaving it mostly blank.

It took forever to send the file to the server (timed out 5-6 times) but it eventually sent me back a working app file... so I dont think you need to fill in all the stuff.

I think its just a leftover from the Direct fiasco... Im hoping they streamline it back to more in line with how the pre 0.9 publishing used to work... but im guessing its probably going to stay this way for the Accelerator program.

The GameSalad publishing server is experiencing problems. Please try again later.

:P well nvm then i will carry on making levels :P

Yes it looks like it was designed for the direct, hope it gets fixed soon cause my day is getting worse lol.

Just keep trying Darren. Was doing that to me last night. You have to quit GS, re-open and try again. Rinse and repeat until it works.

    Took me 5 times :/

if you fill the description details and keywords in using the boxes in the actual editor, then the publisher pulls it from there. saves having to type it everytime. the only thing it doesnt seem to remember is your categories.

I have a new problem with publishing now, after waiting for a looooooong time with "uploading game project", I get a new error "the file couldn't be opened because it isn't in the correct format. The file might be corrupted, truncated, or in an expected format".

Anybody facing this issue? Any fix?

I am wired via ethernet and not on wireless.

Thanks. I should keep myself busy in between then. Staring at the screen will drive me nuts. :)

Ok successful! With so much pain, the fireworks at the end sure is apt and appropriate :)
