iAd placement???

Since the search bar is doing nothing for me here are the questions.
Do I just stick the iAd behavior onto the background and it magically pops up when it wants then goes away when I click it or an X on it. Do I set it up like an actor that displays my stuff on a timer then apple puts in their own ads. Basically I think there should be a tutorial for this.
I set up an actor/level select button that when touched it goes to that level and displayed the blank GS iAd but how and when does it go away and how do I set it up as some say (you need to have your own ads in case apple does not dish one out.

I normally do the google search option at the bottom of the GameSalad search results)
Heres the link to the iads info... it should all be in there...

Any suggestions what I am doing wrong? I thought I followed the instructions correctly. It is weird.
Thanks in advance!
I haven't been able to test on a device as I don't have the 4 but I ended up placing a transparent actor the same size of the described 320 x 50 at the bottom of 1 scene that will destroy itself every 7 seconds and a spawner at 12 seconds of that iAd actor in hopes to invoke numerous ads (more $). Then i have a static ad when they get to the try again screen. It displays properly on the preview but who really knows until I see the final approved app.
I just did a build, installed it and the iADS never showed up. Is that the way it is suppose to work?
