Why is my app not showing in the iPad after syncing is complete?

Strange ... I can publish and do all the steps needed.
When I click "Test", the sync process begins but then the app does not show up on the iPad. There is no icon to click on.
ITunes does show me the icon but on the device, it's no were to be found. (yes, I've looked at the second page)

any hints?

    Does the icon show in the iPad image on iTunes? If yes, then click apply on the bottom left and it will sync the app to your ipad

    yes, I had to go into itunes and manually sync again .... it's ok now and VERY EXCITING to see this baby one there!

    One (almost) done and a dozen more to go :)

    that is exactly what I had to do in order to get it on my device!
