Hi, I'm months away from publishing my first game to the app store (for iPad), but when I do, I'd also like to publish it for the Mac desktop. And I'm curious to know something about that: the 100% view of the screen in Preview is larger than it will be as the iPad app, but will the Mac app be the same size as the GS Preview screen, does anyone know please?

    Hi gyroscope,
I am curious about that too!
The first thing you need to do is choosing HD which is the last option bellow the iPad and then, the app will work on the Mac!
I still have not added my machine as a device so I can not test this but someone told me that this is the way to go.

What I am not clear about is how to make that a sellable application? I am still new to the Mac platform and not familiar with the packages out there that can do this ... Maybe I am totally wrong here but I will follow your post so that I can learn that too!

    Ciao :)

It was the same size as preview but it might have changed with the update so im not sure now.

    @ xyloFUN

Well the mac app stores coming out so that would be your best bet at selling apps for mac, if gs allows as well as apple. But until then or if they dont allow it would be like any other computer game or program. You would burn to disk, and either get a publisher to put it iinto stores for you if its good enough( bestbuy, staples, ect.) Or you would sell the disks yourself. Thats the whole point of the mac app store coming out, is so theres a way to really make a profit if your not big enough for a publisher. Hope i cleared some stuff up for you guys.

Big thank you from me as well ... This gives me hope that when my wife kicks me out because I spent too much time on my computer, I can survive without depending on food stamps ;)

    Ciao for now!
