Sounds played with "timer" - tricky question :)

Hi guys,
This is a tricky one but I think it might be doable?
I have included lessons with the trumpet instrument and I'm happy with the app but, if I could have the player listen to each lesson, that would be even better!
Instead of recording each of the lessons, I would rather do that with code since all the sounds are already "in" the game.
So here is my question:
Can I trigger a sequenz of sound files with the timer attribute?
The songs are very simple and short!
I have done this with Flash so I'm confident that GS can do it too!
Any hints or tips? Anyone done something like this?

because the chain of sounds are nothing but "lesson type melodies", it does not matter if I record them or now. I could as I am surrounded by a fully equipped recording studio when I prepare the sounds and everything I need.
I was not able to do the "random" show images so I've decided to bring in the lessons from the top but to make up for this, I'll include a "listen button ... or (inspiration is striking RIGHT NOW) maybe i even make it that the kids can play the instrument and when they play the lesson, the instrument plays itself. It's completely feasible because ..... hmmm .... let me sleep on that
