What can you do with url forwarding?

I know that you can put a link to your other apps but I know that there may be some other uses as sending email. I know that some uses require some kind of code. Can someone tell me what other uses and how to do them?

    Ok for example I found this wiki that explain that you can put a link so people can send you emails by showing this code:
    mailto:you@uremail.kom?CC=cc@uremail.kom&BCC=bcc@uremail.kom&Subject=Read&Body=GameSalad%20is%20GREAT.

    I just cant understand that, I need some one who know about this to explain what do I have to substitude to use it.

    There was another one that tshirtbooth explained but I need some help with it too:

    This one I think it takes the person to you profile page.

    Like this ones there might be some other stuff that you can use with the url forwarding and if someone can explain them I think it will be very helpfull

    yeah, I've been wondering if you can do some php malarky to do more interesting stuff with the url link behaviour.
