I think that this game is phenomenal!
It's an excellent example of how slight changes to game design can dramatically change and improve a game. Pac-Man is 30 years old, but if you add more ghosts, Matrix-style bullet-time and online rankings... an old game feels new.
I posted a review at my website.
Since this is a place for GameSalad developers, here's some information that I think you might appreciate...
My personal best score for "Game Mode Total Hi-Score (Total for all courses)" was 122 out of 29372, with a score of 85,877,208. The number most relevant here is 29372. On the PlayStation 3, the game is $9.99. So, some quick math reveals how much money was moved around by Pac-Man DX... well over a quarter-of-a-million dollars, in just under two weeks.
As a game developer, I see that as a huge source of inspiration.

I have it on the xbox. Think we have more than 30k players on xbox live though now.
So 1/4 mill for the ps3 version. same or more for the xbox version. Not that Namco are strapped for cash I should imagine.
