Hey guys got a situation I wanna see how you would tackle. If you've seen my game you will notice that my Tornado's are erratic, which is how I wanted them, b/c I felt that was most lifelike. My issue is that I want to confine them to the game screen. I had a few ideas on how to do this, but wanted to get some input. Constraining x & y didn't work, it made them "jump" to new locations. What you guys think?

You could have invisible actors that form a border around your game area. When the tornado hits it it can change direction.

That's also what I was thinking. But, my tornado moves in an erratic way due to a constant change of velocity (I have it on a timer, so it changes direction alot, that way it moves in a random behaviour, much like a real tornado).

So I was thinking this may not work, b/c it could just decide to randomly go back in the same direction.

Think it will still work? I haven't had time to try it yet, b/c I was putting in other functions last night.
