Updating app whilst waiting for review

Hi all,
just a quick question, I have just uploaded my binary to apple, so am now in the long line "waiting for review", if I update my binary whilst waiting for a review will I get kicked to the back of the line or will I be able to sit there twiddling my thumbs still?????
