how many scenes/actors do you usually use?

Howdy,
i'm considering something different which is make every lesson a new scene (reuse the instrument) as this way, I don't need to worry about scrolling and larger screen/background dimensions.

Is that a good or bad idea?

In total, this could mean using up to 35 scenes instead of 5 or so?

It depends on how many actors and the amount of rules in those actors.

What is the actor count in every scene when you use only 5 and 25?

And are those actors heavily "constructed"?

If you have about 100 actors, when you have only 5 scenes, you should definitely go with less scenes.

But if your actor count goes way up 100actors, you should divide them into different scenes.

And if your actors don't have a lot of timers, constrains and most importantly spawn actor rules, you can use more than 100 actors in a scene without a problem.

That is based on my experience. This could be wrong. But the advantage of less scenes is shortened loading times which helps the overall experience a lot!

Well it depends. It's a good idea since it will be easier for you, but a bad idea since there will be much more load times. But 35 scenes is not a lot, its a typical amount.

And could be a good idea since you will keep RAM per scene low, but again that would depend on the amount of actors, image sizes etc,I would recommend doing it the harder way

In my project I will be having over 100 "scenes" but will be trying to implement them into only 10 scenes.

each of the level one instruments has only 8 actors for the instrument, one for help, and maybe three more for navigation (which i'm not sure yet how i will implement it since i still don't know how to make a sliding menu with buttons in it that go to different scenes and slide out again to make room for the instrument.

So about 15 actors per scene ....
