Hi,
the other day i've tried to copy and paste a scene and it only copied part of the rules BUT, today i was able to copy/paste a complete scene which saves me a lot of time because I don't have to position the instrument at the same location which is tedious!

YAY :)

Is that copy/paste scene in the same project... or between 2 different projects?

    same project!
I couldn't believe it because i just tried to see if at least something would transfer and then everything worked!

To be clear, this is an iPhone project and not an iPad project (for the ipad, I was not able to copy the rules but only the gfx)

    ciao :)

Hi xyloFun: Don't know how you managed that, as that feature disappeared in .9, but glad for you that it worked!

You can copy and paste (or alt/option drag) the whole scene in the scenes section of the Project Editor too. :-)

Here is what i did ....

i hit the home button, selected the scene (it was the only one finished) and went to the menu > copy
then, i pasted from the main menu (top of screen) and tra ra, there was an identical scene!

Like i mentioned, all i cared were the gfx and that takes the most time to do but when I saw that all the rules were there too, I tested the new scene and it worked! Nothing to adjust!

I just tried this again and it works :)

I just tried and I can not copy to a new project! no actors and no images ... only the scene background was white like the scene i tried to copy from. sowy!

Ah you meant that anyway; I thought it a bit odd that copying and pasting rules between actors was somehow working again in your copy of .9!

As I mentioned above, holding down the alt key and dragging is a slightly faster way in the Project Editor. :-)

For your interest, you could copy and paste (or alt drag) Rules from one project into another in .8.9 but it went awol in .9... :-(

i have a dual monitor setup so i open one project on one monitor and the one i'm working on, on the other. Yes, to copy is the best way to go but i am new to this so a little bit of "doing" is better right now.

From what I hear, 8.9 was a good thing but that was before i joined.
.9 was touted as "the" thing for a few days but, i don't have a reference to what i missed so 0.9 is when i jumped on the band wagon :)
