Publishing from Gamesalad without Gamesalad Express

I'm trying to publish my game through gamesalad, but everytime I try, it gives me the option of downloading the Gamesalad Express or whatever it's called. Now I already have my Membership going from before gamesalad express came out, and I wish to use it to publish my games. But I can't figure out how to get around the Express membership. Any help would be great!

Did you make sure you were logged into the gs creator before you did anything?

When I press the publish button, it asks me to login before anything else happens, so yes. It promps me to upgrade, it gives me three options, Join now, More info, and cancel. When I click more info it just brings online to the gamesalad page, and cancel just exits.

have you installed gamesalad 0.9 or are you still on 0.8.9?

Still on 0.8.9
I didn't install the next one because it has all of that Express mumbo jumbo on it.

that's your problem, the publishing servers won't accepted apps from 0.8.9, you need to install 0.9 and republish!

What kind of file do I need to put into the "Icon" slot? I have the image I want but it's not selectable.

you should just need a 512 x 512 png file, GS automatically downscales the image for you to create the icon when it publishes.
