but yeah, first thing is, your up and down arrows are placed so it looks like it will be a pain to control on a real device.
imagine you have to use your left thumb to move up and down, and your right to shoot, having the up and down so far apart won't make for a good play experience.
Also, the movement on your ship looked a little stiff. I'm assuming you are using the move behaviour. Maybe experiment with accelerate, and some drag etc to get a more fluid sense of movement.

that's my 2p anyways.
good luck with it all.
I'll do some experimenting however the reason why I didn't is because of the way that the enemy ships come at you I feel it might make you crash because of the increase/decrease of speed and you might have trouble stopping to shot because it is not a scroller it just looks similar.
I added everything you guys said and put them in the options menu. You can now switch through Tilt/Touch Mode from the options menu. I'll post a vid soon.
Here's my next vid. I put acceleration on Tilt mode and move on touch mode so that I could get an opinion on which looks better. P.S. I am completely aware of the fact that the ship kept going downwards. Also that the text was backwards and that is because I was recording off of my computer.
Comments
Edit: Thanks to Utopian Games I now know how and also sorry about the poor video quality.
Darren.
anyway, on the touch devices: I like to touch the movable actors or move with accelerator/tilt actions...
