Issue with pausing game (actor acceleration)

I know this subject has been touched on numerous times, but I couldn't find a solution to my specific issue. I'm able to pause movement in my scene using the "Game.Pause" method (attribute), but for some reason any actors I have that have acceleration attributed to them won't cease their movement. They just keep accelerating to their designated random location. I tried setting "Apply Max Speed" to true for these actors when the game is paused, but it does nothing. I tried setting their density to a gazillion, but I knew that wouldn't work. Setting Movable to false of course doesn't work, why would it? The closest I got was setting drag to super high (1500). While that halts my actors dead in their tracks, it makes them jitter like they were on cocaine.

Thanks for your... accelerated response... :) Your method worked for the most part, but it's strange; they stop, and while everything is in suspended animation, the actors in question still continue to move ever so slightly towards the bottom right. Other actors (that aren't accelerating but rather "moving to") stop completely. I'll play around with it to see if I can get to the bottom of this, but any help would be appreciated.

Have been having the same exact issue. Tried TSB's way, but am having the same continued slow movement downwards. Any ideas anyone? :)

There's a PAUSE system apparently coming sometime soon. May be worth getting on with your game and adding Pause when it's available!

Was thinking that QS...but too defeatist for me. I am ALL ABOUT the workaround haha!

I will get this working if no one can help..it may not be pretty, but it will work LOL!

Heh - I like to think of it as 'practical' rather than 'defeatist'.

    Or maybe just 'lazy'? :D
