When should i release my updates prior to christmas?

I submitted 4 games last week and they are approved but i have them "Pending Developer release" Can i release them on xmas day or will that not work because of the app store shutdown???

    I think is clear from what apple told devs that no new app will appear on the store between 23 and 29 december

    I was wondering the same thing. I would like to make one of my apps free on Xmas day but am not sure if I can. You would think it would all be automated and it wouldn't matter. I understand about no new apps being added but updates and already approved apps being held until Xmas day I would hope be allowed.

    I can't remember what happened last year. It was all a blur then :-)

    Let it be released on the 22th, then you have a good chance that your app stays on the main page for the whole holiday period until 29th.
