Hi Guys,

After i finish the platform Template i will start on a 4 in 1 arcade template and try to make it suitable for games like pac man, dig dug, bomber man and boulder dash or any game that requires your character to move and stop within a grid.

It's took me a while to get this working but here's a peak at the very start of the project.

Darren.

As if there is any other kind of light cycle? Very cool Darren I'm excited to see these demos develop!

Good going! Will check out the code...

Interesting to note that with simple systems (using redefined character sets - text turned into graphics) we were trying to escape the grid, but in GS we're instead trying to make one! ;-)

I have the PacMan nearly finished so the basic move in a grid (any size) is in.

I think your looking at feb next year for all 4 games and version 1.0 as i have to finish the platform template 1st.

This is really good for the community. It will help new users to see how rules should be laid out for actors.

I would be interested to know more about who creates the gfx for you demos and are they freelance?

Looks great! I may also purchase this one to help with an atari 2600 style compilation I'm thinking off!

I might release the code soon on it's own without the 4 games as it seems most users are just after the move in a grid code.

Let me have a think cause it has taken a lot of work to get it right.
