Problem Publishing to "Macintosh"

I wonder if anyone is having problems publishing to the "macintosh" target. I've done stuff like clear all my provisionings and profiles and reinstalling them fresh but I still have problems.

Basically, I get stuck right after the "receiving app" portion. When the system attempts to sign, it throws the error "xxxxx" file does not exist. "xxxx" is the name of the app.

yuck my iPad projects used to publish to Mac and run beautiful on desktop....
but the new system wont accept the size of the iPad's screenshots...

as of this time... the provisioning profiles ONLY pertain to the iTune appStore...
they are not utilized in the desktop publishing versions...
the developer of desktop/widget apps was responsible for distribution of them... though Apple allowed you to submit to their download site... the actual transfer of app was from the developer's website.

(I just published the PlatformerTemplate and it worked fine... needless to say, I have no profiles for it.)

I can not figure out why you are having a problem...
try to publish one of the demoes ...

Great suggestion, and publishing a template does work. I'm going to code from scratch again and see what happens.
