    Saying any of those names just inflates his ego. To me, he will just be the sad guy who, instead of creating games, has nominated himself as the Roger Ebert of Lite/Free/Demo indie games. This is not a job, where he would get paid, but rather some sad guy who can't get paid for his opinion so spends his spare time shoving his opinions down the throats of others, as if he is the authoritative end whose opinions should be accepted and all devs should take as expert advice. He is like a free game dev consultant! We should be paying him!!

    But I already forgot his name...who were we talking about again?

    I got a review from him on Happy Doodle Sushi Smile that was amazingly full of lies; I mean, if he didn't like the game that's fine, but his review was full of various little lies - then he left a second one on his other account, lol.

    I think he's probably just some sad kid who doesn't have any friends; I picture him throwing a bitch fit when his mother tells him to go to bed XD

    Either way, f'ck him. Any bad review he leaves we have a strong community here to prop us up with honest and supportive feedback :)

    This little Asswipe just left a bad review on my Coin Fountain app as well.
    Would it help to complain to Apple? Maybe they ban him.

    I dont know...I think its an interesting issue thats under scrutiny here.

    I know everyone wants to see good reviews for their games, but to expect all 5 star reviews and no criticism/suggestions for improvement isnt right, especially when a lot of those games are either first attempts, or realistically not that great when compared to true 5 star games on the appstore.

    Everyone has their opinion, likes and dislikes. Not everyone is going to like or appreciate our efforts.

    I read through all of Rostiks reviews on the appstore, and overall I have to say he seemed quite consistent in his reviews... genuinely good games on the whole recieved fair or good reviews from him...

    Ok, he can be quite bitchy in the way he says things, and he does tend to pick out GameSalad games for the most criticism... but maybe thats a sign of the general quality of the majority of GameSalad games. He has given some GameSalad games good reviews, and in those cases I think the game merited it.

    For the record, he gave iSUB, my first game, a 1 star review, and was quite scathing about it. The game was a quick test run, and although I tried to make it look the best it could be.... it was never meant to compete with the top apps...so although he was bitchy, I think his review score could easily reflect his honest thoughts on the game. He wasnt the only person to give it a 1 star... which tells me that it obviously has its flaws....and could ber a lot better.

    You cant get upset everytime someone gives you a crappy score or review.

    He's welcome to review any of my future games, as long as hes willing to give me constructive feedback...

    I totally agree with Chunkypixels. After premiere of my game (ver. 1.0), I've got few bad reviews, because of bad english translation and controls problems. Now, since the 1.1 version premiere, I get only nice, positive reviews around the world.
    My game got better thanks to these old, bad reviews.

    I have no problem getting bad reviews from CUSTOMERS. But this guy comes here and offers this community NOTHING. He does not give constructive feedback. He often marks gamesalad games down for things we cannot control (such as leaderboards) which he is well aware of. He comes here and takes promo codes for the sole purpose of bashing GS.

    The problem is that we need a paid members only section of the forum for promo codes and possibly other topics as well. Moderators could easily move threads out of the members only section if it benefits the whole community and doesn't need to be kept private.

    The fact that this guy comes here under a different name and then tries to defend his alter ego just shows what kind of person this guy is. There needs to be a way to keep poisonous people like him out of this community. Unfortunately a paid section seems to be the only way.

    I agree with scitunes. That jerk is the sole reason I didn't post any promo codes on the forum. Because I understand it's my first game and there are gonna be people who don't care for it but they are customers and have the right to complain about it if they see fit to. This guy hides who he is so he can cruise these forums in search of free games to belittle in order to make himself feel important when he has created nothing and contributed nothing but negativity here. I also looked at his reviews and it's true he gave some games a good review but overall he's a very negative reviewer and there's " bitchy" and there's being a dick and he's being a little dick with the GS games. If you don't like something and you paid for it your entitled to your opinion but if you got the game for free and didn't like it you don't have to completely trash the game just say you didn't like it or don't say anything at all cause your not leaving constructive criticism just negative criticism. This is a developers forum FOR developers you have no place here. Go away.

    Since the developer was nice enough to give it to him for free, you'd think he'd...I don't know...tell the DEVELOPER about the issues he has with the games...not try to publicly humiliate them to their customers.

    rotstik gives one star reviews
    rotstik writes reviews of no value to customers
    rotstik and the opinion she or he has are best ignored
    rotstik and other accounts she he uses can be ignored
    rotstik provides no value to readers
    rotstik and his opinion are useless

    please guys keep this post alive because google needs to provide those who search for rotstik with a link to this forum.
    Also, if you can identify other names that individual posts under, do so :)

    I am not sure how that works but does Apple display a "mixture" of reviews?
    By that I mean, will they feature a one star review on the first page "just to paint the big picture" or does it go by post?
    If it goes by date posted, would someone please be willing to accept a promo code and just give it a 3 star or more to make that go away?
    It's hard enough to make sales as it is and his is the only 1 star one I have got.

    How ever, we live in a free world and everybody is entitled to their opinion :)

    You guys know that I have never asked on here for a review but if it pushes this one to the second page than it would be great if someone would be willing to do this and if apple features both kinds on the first page, than it is not worth the effort :)

    I forgot to mention, this is an iPhone app!

    @ xyloFUN, the app store on the computer can have reviews sorted by "date" or "most helpful" or "most favorable" or "most critical". You can rate a review as helpful or not. I'm not sure what the default is on the computer, but mine always comes up sorted as "most helpful" on my iTunes. I think the devices always sort by date.

    An app I no longer have for sale, had a review by rotstik, and I'm sure its the one which now says its by classymom.

    Ha Ha Ha. I got my first review by Rotstik! I feel like I've been initiated by the Simon Cowell of game reviewers. He truly trashed my game "Skate Punk Bird Massacre." Ha ha ha.
