I am currently making a game that I am, at best, one tenth of the way through, but my size already says 85.6 MB. What should I do?

Scream!
Seriously, that's totally crazy for one tenth. There's a post recently about deleting screenshots, that'll help a bit. (Posted recently in the last day or two, sure you'll find it). Make all sounds mono where possible, 128kbps ogg; see if you can get away with 8bit PNGs wherever possible (especially if they are not many colours +no transparency); can't think of anything else at the moment but I'm sure other forum members will chime in. Is your game the War and Peace of the gaming world? ;-)
So far just an intro (about 3 minutes) and a few minutes worth of gameplay.

I'm wondering if your intro contains animation sequences. Perhaps try cutting the fps if yours is a bit high; it can be surprising how low a rate you can get away with, especially if you're using flat colour graphics; that would save a lot.
I do have several animations with several hundred pictures. I'll try changing the fps.

Hope it helps, Asymptoteell. Another thought I had: 3 minutes seems an incredibly long time for a game intro. I can't remember seeing that long for intros or cutscenes even on major Playstation games! Maybe the intro can be edited, made to be a bit sharper, snappier and still get the story across? You could lose more than half of it that way, I'm certain.
i agree with gyro. The cutscenes in black ops and halo reach unless your reaching a major point arent even longer then 2 and a half minutes. And that is extremely large. Does it even run on the device?
