When I click publish, is my app published to the website?

Why when I just want to test the app on the device I need to hit publish, and fill all the fields, as if I was going to publish the app to the website, or to the appstore?

Is it really published?

    Hey sabaterwp,
    just for testing, you don't need to bother with filling in too much info and use just one screenshot. The minimum will do :)

    Also, assuming you have the gs viewer installed, you just preview locally, on your device.
