I believe the distinction is that "Pro" is what $2000 would get you before the "direct" debacle. "Professional" is the $499 service level that replaced "Pro".
I think it's funny how the anser to this question is avoided. Eitherway I don't mid advertising gamesalad. Kinda shows that it's not what tools u used. Its how u use it. I love game salad

Right now the pricing labels the $499 as PRO so unless CodeMonkey got it backward?!?
Has anyone who wasn't a $2000 member, purchased the $499 package and submitted a game? If so was there or was there not a splash screen for GS?
