Hello GameSalad people!
I'm trying to develop a game that is a mix of a breakout game and a puzzle game similar to bejeweled. I'm trying to make if as fun as possible by making custom animations, having lots of collectables, actual cut scenes, custom music and just make it really funny. I think any game type can be successful if a lot of detail and dedication goes into it. I can create all of this EXCEPT for the actual creating of the rules and behaviors. I have somewhat of an understanding of how to use GS but I honestly need help to make my game a reality. I've bought tshirtbooth's book which is fantastic and asked Utopiangames to give me a few pointers but they said to come here if I really want help so, here I am!
I'm trying to make this game look and feel as good as possible. I'm not the best artist in the world but I'm taking my time to make this look good...or at least good in my opinion anyway but I know I'm going to need help. I'm so so at animating and creating graphics and would be MORE than willing to swap and create art assets for programming knowledge or help if anyone has spare time! PLEASE take a look at the link below and check out one of my concept sheets. This is a very rough, preliminary overview of what I'm working on. If ANYONE is interested at all in working together or has constructive criticism or thoughts, please sent me a message! My name is Jeff by the way and you can also e-mail me at jholland2@unl.edu and just put GAMESALAD in the subject line!

p.s. Also, if you're interested, the music and sound effects for this game will all be made by voices only! Here is the intro music if you'd like to take a listen!

EDIT:
BTW, GREAT artwork, I LOVE it!!!

EX: you have an actor that you want to move...
you can use Move behavior; Move To; changeAttribute X or Y; Interpolate; implement drag by constrainAttribute to touch; or have the background scroll!
it is good when you are unsure of how to get an event to look/act like you want, to drag a Note behavior to your actor and write what you want to happen and how you possibly make that happen!
then put in possible rules and Preview...
to try the move effects... you could make 6 actors, each with an appropriate behavior for each possible method. and see what works best for you.
Wow! your concept sheet is strong! you already know exactly what you want to do...
(set that image as your desktop background!)
and, just try to get one aspect of it working... like the eggs! then go from there...
perfectly fine to do a separate gameProject for each food item then incorporate into your complete game...that way you break down your workload into smaller more manageable sections...and aren't overwhelmed with to-dos!
