I need to figure out a way in which if the user draws a complete shape the fill color of the shape would change color. In other words if the user complete a circle it goes from being an outline or a shape to a solid colored shape.

ideas?

Hi jpmurph; personally, I really can't see an efficient way to accomplish this in GS; you can simulate drawing, I think, and certainly changing colour of a shape, but not an irregularly drawn shape (which it would inevitably be even if you're using a circle as a guide). How to register where the user starts drawing would be no prob, but ensuring that he/she "completes the course" back round to the start, I'm not sure if that could be done.

To get this to work efficiently, you'd need coding which isn't available in GS. Sorry to disappoint you.

Do you think you could use something similar to the below video to accomplish. Say if all boxes were removed from an outline of, change color. I'm really looking for a way to create a qix like gameplay.

  • I'd love to make a qix type game too. Very fun and simple gameplay that has not been explored enough.
