Question about frames per second

I was wondering how I can check the frames per second to see how my game is performing. Is this something I can accurately check in the game salad previewer or do I have to try it on the device (that I don't have yet)?

If you download X-Code it comes with a iphone tester. I use it to run GS viewer (I don't have an apple dev. account yet.) Try that, GamersRejoice.

And the game runs in the iphone simulater in xcode?

Yeah. You just have to open the X-code project that comes when you download the Viewer. Then you do what you normally would to open a game in the Gamesalad Viewer. It works normal (I think.) In my game, though, the verticle spacing in text (return key) didn't show up. I don't know if this is because of the X-Code or if it would happen on the iphone too. By the way, the simulator also has an ipad option if you need to use that.
