External Background size

just a quick question. ive looked around but cant seem to find the correct words.

in the scene screen how do i change the size of the background. if i start a new project its the grey bit? not the bit which is seen by the viewer.

Click scene, attributes, then size. If you want the camera to follow a actor out of the original screen size you need to put the control camera behavior in it.

if the display size is set to iphone, i do not want to change this centre size. just background

It wont change the size of the iphone, it will allow your character to move threw the scene as long as the control camera behavior is on him, but the size you see wont change

Dont put the control camera behavior in any actor if you dont want to see anything in the grey

my friend i am not understanding you.

the green area is the standard back size of the workspace. i am aware that you do nnot see this.
i want to increase the size of this bit so i can see it myself. for example you see now the image as been cut off. the actual image size is outlined in blue. how do i change the size of the area so i can see this.
surely its not the camera?

Go to scene, attributes, size, and make the width bigger.
