Got the tower, Intel

But im having a problem

What do i do?

I downloaded the certificates

(Development)
(Distrubition)
(Wwdc)

But in xcode it says that the certain provisioning profile cant be matched with a certificate

Any clue?

What step am i messing on?

Before i had the same certs on a diffrent computer could this be the problem?

access the developer center. developer.apple.com - There is a lot of information there, about how to generate the certificates and etc.

Update your title so people know you have a problem, you'll get more replies.

sounds like you missed something with your keychain certificates. did you export them from your old machine and reimport them? when I got a new computer I had a lot of trouble moving my certificates from one machine to another. I ended up starting from scratch and recreating them.

What I did was login to the member center then went to certs and then downloaded the 3 files and double clicked on them and they installEd on the keychain , do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Ur right , sorry about the title. But I can't change it.

    Thanks appreciate it

i fixed the title for you.

if you still have your old computer, go to that one and export the three certificates and import them back to your machine.

You can try copying your whole developer profile from the old to new. it will make you put in a password and then you use that password on the new mac to load and install the whole profile. Also you only need the developer and distribution certificate. I had to delete the WWDC from my new mac to get it all to work

Isn't there a way to just pull all the files off the old Mac and put it on the new Mac?

    Maybe this article will help...

i transferred all the files and apps but where in the hard drives do i find the keychain files?
  • gazjmgazjm Member Posts: 578
if you got to applications, utilities, and open keychain, in the file menu it should have an export option. export from there and import into your new machine.

Sorry can't remember exact process but thats what I did a while ago.

go to xcode and in the organizer click on developer profile on the left side.
Then there is an option to export the profile. It will copy all your certificates and provisioning profiles
Be sure you delete the certificates you have downloaded so you dont end up with more than one of each
