Retina Display Question(s)

Hey All, First of all I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas!!

Well, I have developed a game which is on AppStore called "Snakes And Ladders Fun Begins" http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=14845 . Now I wanted to update this to incorporate Retina Display gfx.

Here are my questions:

1. What is the best way to upgrade this to retina display? I have already created High Res graphics for the game.

2. Do I need to check the Resolution Independence check box and replace the High Res gfx? or

3. Do I need to recreate it from the scratch?

I know I am bugging you guys during holidays but if you have some time to answer this that would be awesome.

    i think if you just check resolution independence and then drop in new high res graphics you should be ok.

    I would name it all the same and then drop the art into the images sections and not on the actor itself. then replace existing images. you run the risk of the actor resizing when you drop the art on the actor. I changed over to RI half way through a game and had to go through resizing all my actors. that was .8.9 but who why risk it. Make sure you make a backup of your game before you start changing it all.

    What does everyone call HD or High Resolution Graphics.

    Is it size dependent? Dpi dependent?

    What are your "specs" for high resolution graphics?
