Sprites

Hello GS'ers,

I was wondering if anyone can make characters like this, http://teh_pro.webs.com/sprites.htm ? I would like to use something like these, only these are Metal Slug characters. I know they've been edited, but i'm sure you can still get into trouble using them in a game. That's why I was wondering if anyone knows someone that can make sprites like this?

    There are some sprite sites on the resources page, I think. Unless you own the images or have permission to use someone else's images you might have your game pulled from by Apple for copyright infringement. It's not worth the risk, really. You could pay a professional to design the sprites or perhaps you you advertise in your local college for an art student to do the design for free in return for recognition?

    Right, that's why I was asking if anyone can point me in the right direction of a designer they've used in the past that I may contact.
