Hello GS'ers,

Has anyone got a template on how to have actors of the scene be triggered and untriggered? Say your hero is on the screen, and the badguys are of the screen, but the hero get's close to the badguys, they come after him. If he run's away or around a corner, then they stop chasing him and go back to their respective starting points.

    In case you dont get how thats relative to what you want to do, ill explain.

    This uses the magnitude expression to determine how close and far actors are from each other, notice how the lines between them spawn only if there close enough, and then destroy when the get farther away. You would switch the spawn line rules, for the move rules and such you want to do and what u want to go after when its a certain distance, and then the rule that destroys the line you would have your rules for what they do when there not close enough to trigger there movements. ANd then to adjust the distances there triggered, you just adjust the numbers.
