Saving?

How is the saving function when on the app store? I hadn't expected any saved games, but then I got Mini Cannon and every time I go back to the game, my progress is saved. How good are these functions/do they always work? Thanks.

    Saving works fine every time, just save the function and recall it when the game starts with the load function
