Issue with Bullets and Player interaction

Hey, I've been working on a little project and I am having an issue between the connectivity from my player actor (the mech) and my cannon shell projectile. In the screens linked below (flickr.com) are the actors properties/behaviors/rules, is there something i'm missing or am I making this way too difficult?

    I have recreated another 'dummy' player actor, and applied basic up, down, left, and right movement parameters and now an actor is spawning fine and firing. Though on my original, which is affected by a gravity behavior and a few other complex behaviors, the projectile actor will not spawn as if it becomes null somehow.

    UPDATE:
    I've got the actor to spawn, but now I can not get my player(mech) to go through the jump cycle anymore. I am so confused. When one works the other does not. Oh, and the X and Y positioning for the projectile is not responding to the values that are inputted.

    Update 2:

    Issue is fixed. For some reason my mech actor would not update itself and upon deleting and replacing the actor back into the scene, everything worked.
