i have in my game falling toys, which are supposed to go into a designated colored bin, but i wanted to make it more realistic and i tried to make them bounce of the edges of the bins (when they collide with them) into the bins, but i ran into a problem when the toys bounce wight at the middle of the edge they just float upwards, i tried accelerating them downward and all, but didn't fix this problem. If somebody knows how to fix this, so if the actor collides with the middle (point) of the edge it randomly changes its angle or something and it accelerates downwards.

Not sure tbh but have you tried making the toys circle collision instead of rectangle and also changing the restitution in the physics might help.
