Did mine today, but just a reminder to all who haven't made the jump yet, if you were on an old EXPRESS membership tomorrow 31st December 2010 is your last chance to upgrade your membership to PRO for a full year at only $99!

    Yup you missed it. I rnemember it being said that the last day would be the 31st but you should have done it earlier anyways :(

    On my other account it showed up as $499 as well...don't know what's up then. Luckily I got it on my main account so I'm happy

    I Recommend to Buy IT! We could have a LOT of improvements for 2011 that will definitely be PRO (At least the best of them)

    LOL! I love your optimism but that is purely speculation...

    Without a product roadmap (which GameSalad seems unlikely to do - please prove me wrong), we don't know what features will be released, which will be free and which will be pro only.

    Only time will tell.

    It SAID $499 for me to, but when I logged into paypal to pay it said $99.

    That is odd... I went to the link in this thread and it told me $99 up front.

    But then again, I am still trying to get it to show me the new behaviours...

    I think they need to really get this process in order.

    Ive been trying to upgrade to pro and it keeps stalling out on me after i hit the paypal or the amazon button. Says im being forwarded to the payment system but never goes anywhere. :(

    You need to do it on a mac using safari or it stalls.

    I've just gone Professional for $99. Upgrade link and PayPal checkout worked for me.

    Let's make this one pay itself off in a few days' time. With the new year, I hope to kick programming into high gear.

    You should still be able to upgrade, today 31st should be the last day. Not sure if the 31st timeframe is in your own timezone, or where the GameSalad team are, so don't leave this until the last minute.

    The page will show the Pro is $499, but if you look down the right hand side of the page there is the following statement:
    "Upgrade Now! As a current Express Member, you can upgrade to the new Professional Membership for just $99 for the first year! $99 for the First Year! Get iAds, the ability to link directly to promotional titles or sites, and Priority Technical Support at a special discount rate."

    People have reported problems when trying to use Firefox, so I would try Safari if possible. I upgraded yesterday without any problems.

    If I buy the legacy upgrade today does my new membership start today or does it start in 8 months when my current membership expires? Would I lose the remaining time I have if so that's not right and GS should give me and others who purchased memberships before all the price changing happened more time.

    @Thrstn if you decide to upgrade from Express to Pro it will cost you $99 and your express membership will be replaced with the Pro today with 12 months to run, it will not include any time left you had on your express membership.

    Remember this is optional, you don't have to upgrade. But, you need to decide if being 4 month ( 1/3 so $33) into your express membership is worth it, but remember that the Pro membership is normally $499, and I'm sure new features will be added in the upcoming 12 months that will be Pro only!

    i have upgrade express to pro for 99$ this morning but in gamesalad editor i can not use iad and link, why?

    I have see the about gamesalad creator and in the section License i have express

    @1UpGamestudio, just manually fixed your account. Server communication errors again. Re-login before you open your project.

    @codemonkey I think i have the same issue, I have upgraded to PRO yesterday and it shows as pro, but can't see the Pro behaviours?

    JCF, you should see a separate folder under your regular behaviors folder called Pro Behaviors. Is it not there for you?

    I too upgraded my account last night and have re-logged in and out several times and am still seeing no pro behaviors. @codemonkey could you take a look?

    My problem is I just spent 100 dollars on something that a couple months later was givin as free and now Gamesalad is asking for another 100 to "give me" iAds (which I'm not sure I'll use or get my money out of) and URL links (but not ingame purchase) AND telling me that the remaining time on my membership I JUST paid for will not pass onto the new membership they offer for an additional 99 dollars. I'm probably going to upgrade because despite all this I do enjoy using Gamesalad and I understand they are a young company and I want to support them but I really wish they had come out and said "hey everyone who just gave us 99 bucks a couple of months before you needed to and have over half a year left on your membership we"ll go ahead and give you this update as a we are sorry for changing up our pricing all of a sudden on you" and before you all post "that's in the agreement you signed that they can do that" I know I know. It doesnt make it right or a nice way to treat you customers. Again I LIKE GAMESALAD I'm just not happy to shell out more money so soon... And don't even get me started on the pause feature already.

    @AkioAkemi, @JCFord you all are already Professional upgraded. Please make sure to log in BEFORE opening a project file.

    @Cee3pee0 I don't see a completed payment from you. Please email support (at) gamesalad.com, to take this case off the forums.
