iAd Display Issue

I cannot seem to get my iAds to display correctly. I would like to know how other have deployed then in their projects. Along with the best way to have your own "ad" underneath where the iad should be displayed.

Heres What I did with no luck apparently. I made an actor 480x32 and put inside the rule the show iAd behavior and place in the scene at the top. I also selected to show at the top. When I play the scene in preview the test banner shows in that position however when I opened the same scene in the viewer it only randomly displays the test banner and when it does it has displayed it in the middle of the scene and half way off the scene to the left.

I'm curious if I should be putting the display behavior in the same actor as my personal ad or should it be completly different?

Thanks FMG. Any ideas on what is causing this?

No idea unfortunately. It most likely is a bug with Resolution Independence. Hopefully they will fix it in the next release.

Somebody posted the same exact issue a few weeks ago. I don't think they found a fix.

Thanks CodeMonkey. Will anything display in an adhoc build?

FMG was talking about me, I posted that it was happening on my non 4g devices but like CM said- only in the viewer. Check it out on the lite version of the code I gave you tenrdrmer ( i wish upon lite ), it works awesome. I am also using Chaser's technique of destroying the actor with the iad after 18 seconds and spawning a new one 2 seconds after that. This is to get more iads. I don't know if it translate into more revenues but I am giving it a try...

Thank LordTarantor. I was gonna do the destroy every so often thing but each scene either changes or resets every 20-30 seconds so i've decided not to mess with it. on this one. Also kinda a pain cause i'm having to implement iAds in previously built levels so cant always even get them in each level. I did add a deal every 5 levels with a scene that offers an upgrade link and an iAd then after 5-10 seconds a skip ad button loads an gives you the option to continue with the game. I've seen this in other games so I hope it doesn't piss ppl off but hey what can they expect if they know it is ad supported in the description.

Oh and to answer my own question yes the adhoc builds load test ads correctly
