I'm just wondering if any of you guys know a good free 3D program that will make a quick output of an image 360degrees so i can make it animate in my game
If you've already got photoshop you can import 3d models into it... and I beleive animate them in it as well now, at least a simple spin round....you can import 3ds files. A lot of which you can buy from turbosquid.
Otherwise Blender is a great free bit of software.
What do you mean by "output of an image 360degrees"? Do you have a bitmap that you would like to put on a plane and spin it? Or do you want to make a model and render out a 360 turnaround? Or do you have an image and want to make a 360 spherical render of it (for reasons that's beyond me in a 2D application like GS ? Or do you already have a spherical map that you would like to render out a 360 spin of?
In either way, you could always try a 30 day trial of 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage or Cinema 4D (at least I think it's a 30 day trial there).
You should try Bryce. Personal edition is free for non commercial use, and only 20bucks for pro. Bit of a learning curve, but it can do what you're asking pretty easily. I'm using it for 80% of my game graphics.

They have other 3D software but I've never used any of it.
