Link in app

I used GS to make an app for a nonprofit organization and they wanted a link in the app to lead to their website for an additional donation. Is there a way for an invisible actor to be set up to be a link button that leads out to Safari?

On a side note, it was my first time attempting to use GS. I spent a lot of time watching videos and reading the forum, but this is the first time I actually attempted to put something together. It was absolutely insane how fast I was able to make the app. If something didn't work, it was way too easy to figure it out. It's almost unfair, but that's no complaint ;)

I think I'm in love

    Yes GS is a wonderful tool. All you need to do is create an actor, place it where you want it. Go into the actor and on the left hand side is colour, drag its opacity down to 0 and its then invisible. Use your pro behaviour of open url inside a rule that says, when touched, open url ...

    Done :)

    pro behavior?

    yes. GameSalad is free but doesnt have any Pro behaviours. There are currently only 2 pro behaviours, iAds and URL forwarding. To use those 2 things you must purchase the Pro version of GameSalad which is $499 for the year. More pro features should hopefully come soon to justify the money. Im sure GameCenter support will be pro only for example.

    I figured thats what you meant. I thought that would be a basic feature, but I understand why it's that way. I'll just have to hope to make some games to get enough to buy the pro than! Thanks!

    @DonaldM

    ask the non-profit organization for funding... they may create a subscription drive to cover the cost.

    the url link is worth a lot!
