Is selling 12 copies a day, a good amount?

Hello. My first game, save cubes, for ipad, sold yesterday 12 copies. Its costs U$ 2,99... Is this a good number for the first day? How many copies do you usually sell each day?

    Oh no... Checking the sales stats i noticed... 2 copies are using promocodes... But, it is still 10 copies sold...

    Any money is good money, there are a TON of apps now, and it's very, very rare that someone make 100k over a games life span. So $10 - $20 a week, man that's an extra $40 - $80 a month in your pocket. Use that to blow, or to pay someone for good graphics on your next game.

    Got to agree with that, 99 cents / 59p, is probably the way forward especially as it is the sort of competing with Angry Birds looking game play. Physics puzzle...

    My new game iShoot It sold 5 it's first day and 48 its second day! Hopefully yours will pick up as well, but 12 is a GREAT staring number. Best of luck.

    My rule of thumb on the App Store:

    Sales = 0 = Bad
    Sales > 0 = Good

    My Game ePig XL sold 90 Unites the first day and 17 the second day :(
    I Was very Happy with first day, now is going down.
    But for me.. between 3 and 6 sales a Day Im "Happy". and its a good App (Not a hit of course)

    Well. After changing the price to Tier 1(= (0,99), it sold 4 copies yesterday... My game have a ridiculous bug that I didnt notice before publishing it... The level select page shows some of them in wrong order. Thats not a problem, but it ridiculous... Now, I corrected it and added 6 new levels.
