Latest Update not matching Tutorials

I've been trying to follow the youtube videos and other various sources of information since buying a MAC and downloading GameSalad

But all the important things don't match up so I haven't been able to do much at all

What do I do? When there's no way of finding out what to do!

Well if you truly cannot figure it out from the wiki and videos, then do a search of the forum for keywords similar to your problem. and if still no luck the post your specific issues/questions. I find it hard to believe all of the tutorial videos don't match up since I think most of the GameSalad cookbook stuff was done after the latest update and only the dash board and publishing sections changed in the update.

what are you trying to do? I can't really think of anything that wouldn't be still be covered by the latest update, outside of Apple changing the way Xcode or their development signup process works.

I updated my Textbook / app to support 0.9.0 - but there's really not that much difference between the latest version of GameSalad and 0.8.9.

Ozboy, all of the tutorials on the GameSaladCookbook youtube channel were made with the latest version of GameSalad. If you're finding places where controls are not where you expect, make sure you're on the right tab or pane in the software. If they still don't match up, please let me know specific examples so I can take a look.
