We've made a few: Bumps, Running Wild & Red Ball Of Goo are some of them.

I was helping Keith a while back on his tower defence game (i think he scrapped it) so it might be an option.

I really want to buy this, but I am a teen. Teens get short on cash. I have so many ideas I could use this template for though. Hopefully soon I get the money.

Amazing template Darren, thanks for building such a wonderful resource. I can't wait to get started on my second game using this template as a jump start. Just need to finish my first game first. :)

Consider this my endorsement that this template is well worth the money.

Very nice job on this Darren, it truly is amazing. Thank you so much for all your hard work, well worth the $50.

    I can't wait to see a V2!

Hum, I think the jump behaviour is quite strange. I'm used to the jumping physics of Super Mario Bros., but here it looks like you can jump while jumping?!
Did you create the graphics? I think they're great, especially the backgrouds. Are there any tutorials where I can learn to create stuff like that?
I'm not having any time to deal with GS at the moment, besides that my current project is not a platformer. But if I'm doing a platformer this year, you can be sure I'm buying your template. I can't say how much I appreciate your work, Darren!

    Thanks Darren,

Love it so far... I can see so many possibilities for this so looking forward to getting started.

    is there a ladder/rope function?

Also can we pick your brains a bit during development as I want to have enemies on the platforms walking backward and forward but I can only see the bat enemy.

    Thanks SO much for this!

That's cool, I've noticed that after you double jump and land on the expanding and contracting platform that it wont let me jump again. This might have been part of the same bug, I'll check it when I get home.
  • UtopianGamesUtopianGames Member Posts: 5,692
Expanding platform is fixed with the new jump code and 1.1.

Because its interpolating it didn't change the jump back to 0 but it's fixed now.

See the pic attached to the 1.1 i sent.

Very nice! Thanks again for such a great template. What features are you planning to add for the upcoming versions? It would be cool to see a feature list or something.

i would get this, but im only 13, not much money.
But the main thing i want to know is, how do you do that rotating platform ?
that would be helpful if you can help with that ? :)

this is an old thread with outdated information, including the price!

    check out their website here:

I'm closing this to prevent any confusion.
