Hello.
I noticed that it doesnt matter if the price of the game is 0,99 1,99 or 2,99...
Almost all days it sells the same amount (between 3 and 4 units, in my game)... Thats one example... I think Who would buy a game for 0,99, also will buy if it costs 1,99...

but ratings are alot better, because if they think the game is worth the 1$ you will get a good rating
a 1.99 rating you can get some people that think it should cost 99, so it gets worse reviews.

if you can get the ball rolling and get known 1million units sold of a .99 game is way better than say 10,000 units of a 1.99/2.99 game

reviews are everything in getting a game known, theres a few values that all top sellers have.

amuesment factor | Content > Price ratio | Updates to give the consumers a better experience

    *unrelated note*
free content updates are most important for appstore games, the best things in life are free.
theres like a feeling that gets hit when a game gives good new content for free. console games suffer from charging so much money for new content

I wouldn't say that's unrelated. That's somewhat related. When I get free updates and extra level here and there , I become a happy camper. Therefore the ratings go up and I would guess it reflects the creators stye and I would prolly buy more of their games.
