There was a thread not to long ago on this but I can't seem to find it and I (and Im sure most people) are curious as to what everyone is working on. The forum has been a little slow lately and I am just curious as to what people are doing. It doesn't just have to be a game. Can be template, anything really. So post what you've been working hard at with just a comment, pictures(recommended to be watermarked), and videos. Thanks

Meanwhile, I'm thinking of what game to work on next. With Mac App Store support heading towards GameSalad, I've been thinking of a game that would be fun to play on a Mac or an iOS device. I realize that the greatest problem with my games is that they lack polish. After creating Critique - a cool app about cool apps - I realized what it takes to make it to the top of the iTunes App Store.
I'm also planning two Valentine's Day apps.
Polish Graphic wise?

We should expand on the older one because many have already shared some interesting games on there.
"0.9.1 on it's way"....... Is there a post about this anywhere, i.e. what's in the update? I searched for 0.9.1 but couldn't find anything
Also I must say the Unofficial textbook has been extremely useful
My thinking was flawed. I was thinking - what's a 1.99¢ game worth? Yet, on the iTunes App Store, the players don't treat it like a candy bar or cup of coffee. They expect something that players would pay $20-$40 for on the Nintendo DS.
My games are too short. That's a hard challenge to surpass, considering that there are limitations with GameSalad. Also, keeping a game under 20 MB is tough.
My thinking - a game needs to be strong in every aspect to do well... marketing, graphics, physics, music, sound effects, story, presentation, fun... if the game is lacking in any area, then it really has to excel in the other areas.
So, with that in mind, I'm seriously contemplating a winner... a really good game... something that makes people think, "You made that with GameSalad?" ...or even better... "You made that?!"

I'm thinking that means people generally do not want a second edition of Critique.

I bought your book. Very helpful, Since I am kind of new, yet I am a graphic designer this book was perfect. Soon I will have enough info to make a great game. Thanks for making a GS book. Someone needed to do it. lol.

I have to finish it first. Bugs to iron out, waiting for another art drop, and Menus.
Bloody menus. So fiddly!
Oh, and add a week of bug testing to that too!
Once the current project is done, I'll be making iPad/Mac Store versions of stuff like Gravitrixx and Kraken.
Probably.

With so many templates about, I'm scared to even show it to people lest that 1% of assholes on here copies the idea/look of the game before it's even released!
Which is a shame, really!
You'll just have to be patient
