Financial Reports

All of my financial reports are in and I noticed something strange. I know reports can be off sometime, but this time my reports are of by about $500 (for December). However, I think this is because the actual measured dates are somewhere between Nov.25-Dec.25, and I made most of my money in the last week of December. So I guess I'll get paid the rest next month? I was just wondering if anyone could confirm this or if you've had any experience with it. Thanks

    I've gotten all of my reports in but one, and according to my records, I'm almost 100 units short for December. So I'm thinking Apple must have cut off the month around the 25th of December. We should get paid for the remaining days of December in our reports in January.

    December report is from 28th Nov. to 25th Dec. My earnings are ok (in fact, there are a little bigger than I knew from AppAnnie). So Apple have to pay also for the lock down.

    As I said - it's fine for me. I'm 100% sure that they will pay us for the lock down. I compared my financial reports from every zone and my sales info from AppAnnie (from 28th Nov. to 25th Dec.). My earnings matched informations from AA.

    Next payment date: January 27

    @Eminem

    Your financial reports might seem a little low because Apple isn't including the last 5 days of December in the December payment (you will get the money in the January financial report).

    Apple Banking explained that sales reports are different than financial reports.

    Sales are real time analysis of clicking to buy, whereas financial reports are the final numbers given when credit card companies send the money to Apple to finalize payment, and sometimes they are processed late. ie: Credit card company processes the payment late, so Apple doesn't receive payment for that purchase, which in turn, delays payment to devs.
    So in a nutshell, the sales numbers you received for Xmas will roll over to the next month.

    This is not the case for the Holiday season but rather, every month.

    @butterbean I assumed it happened every month, I just never noticed it before because there was never a big enough difference. Thanks for the extra clarification.

    @Eminem, Nope, I get sales everyday since my game's release date.

    No problem! It's more noticeable to people around the Holidays because of the sales boost, but it does happen every month, but once you get a steady stream of sales, you won't notice, because the prior month's will roll over to the next, making up for the difference in loss each month :)
