hey guys, i was wondering if you have had similar problems. now i have spawners that worked good during my testing but once i deleted them from the scene and added new ones of the same spawners (with the same attributes). the thing is some of them spawn actors that do not do what they did before. some bounce of the object when they are suppose to be destroyed while others eat every layer of an object when they are supposed to eat one only.

i haven't done any changes to any actor so i am confused to what is happening here..

has this happened to you before and how did you solve it?

Make sure the spawner is on a scrollable layer. If you've made multiple layers (especially a non-moving one with a HUD), when dragging new actors in, it might default to placing them on a different layer, which will cause problems.

You're welcome. I hope that fixes your problem. I ran into that problem a lot with my current "OhNoes! UFOs!" game. I'd be done with a scene and wanted to add more buildings, etc. Went to test and they'd act funny or just disappear altogether. Turned out they were being added to the wrong layer. A simple drag from one layer to the other fixed the problems.
