Ok so I bought my dev account last night. I created 2 accounts but one of them was under my moms name so I didn't pay on that one, and I made a new one and created under my dad's account.(so i only PURCHASED under my dads name) and when I go to my email they gave me an activation code. I click the activation code and it makes me go back to my moms account to even load the activate button. When I click activate it says error try again later. PLEASE HELP

log out and log in and then your other account data will come up. But if the name on the dev account is different then the credit card then they wont let you active your account till you prove your identity which is sometimes next to impossible since they request a notarized copy of your id and not every state will notarize a id copy

Yah they did ask me to notarize. Why is it nearly impossible? I live in Texas so please help. thanks

When I notarize my account, do i notarize it to the name on the credit card?

no it means you have to take your id, make a copy, then go to a lawyer/bank or whever else they notarize and have them notarize the copy, but in some states its not legal to notarize your id, thats why i said it can be impossible.

If you wanted your name on your dev account you would have to go open a checking account and get a debit card and pay with that, if u cant noptarize id in your state

Not 100% sure, but I believe you need to be 18 years of age to sell things on the App Store. If you are younger, you need to sign up through a parent or legal guardian.

Don't quote me on that though, but I believe it is the case.

Yep, you do. You're going to have to sign up under your dad. I ran into an error asking me to send them a copy of my ID but I just contacted them and they later changed it so I could just click the original link to activate it. I don't know if you can, but you might want to try changing the account information so it is all under your dads name then contact them with the reference number they give you [if you got one when it said error].
